All About Neuschwanstein Castle

King Ludwig resided in the exquisite home until he died in 1886. The house was then officially opened for viewing by the public after his passing and has been visited by more than 60 million people since that day.

Neuschwanstein Castle was first designed as a draft by Christian Jank. Christian Jank was a stage designer and was noted most for his scenic palace designs for King Ludwig II. The architect who contributed greatly to the construction of this famed castle was no other than Eduard Riedel.
