The Azores are a perfect place for visiting during the fall because the climate stays subtropical. They are wonderful places to go sight-seeing. They have many inactive volcanoes that provide hot springs that are very relaxing to take a steaming bath in. More beautiful aspects that the islands have are the stunning waterfalls. Of course, if these sights are not your taste and you are interested in a more beautiful place with a fun activity, the breath-taking beaches here are ideal for you. So if you are going to go on vacation in the Spring or Fall the Azores islands are the islands for you.

Some places in winter get so frigid it is almost unbearable, but not the Madeiras. This place has a good median climate and different islands tend to have different temperatures that anyone can enjoy. The bay of Funchal, surrounded by hills and mountains is very warm and superb for visiting in the winter months, whereas Ponta do Sol and Calheta are not as sheltered from the wind and is better to visit for summer because it is cooler. For an area to see year round the Azores and Madeiras are an excellent choice.
